Nickelodeon announced today that Newman will be driving a special No. 39 Quicken Loans Chevrolet featuring Raphael the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle for the Sprint Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 13, 2012.
“I’m really looking forward to driving the Quicken Loans Chevrolet with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the car,” Newman said. “It is always fun to do something different, and I appreciate sponsors like Quicken Loans who are willing to have a little fun with the car and make things like this promotion happen. Hopefully I can be the hero in a half-shell in victory lane next Saturday night.”
Earlier this week, Quicken Loans, the nation’s largest online mortgage lender, announced that it will be returning to NASCAR in 2013 as Ryan Newman and the No. 39 car’s primary sponsor, sponsoring a total of 18 races. • Unique broadcast of the race for young fans – Led by young fans of NASCAR and available exclusively on PRN and Nickelodeon channels, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles broadcast will have a special announcing team of young NASCAR stars covering the race from the broadcast booth and pit road.
