On Tuesday, we posted an audio recording of a mystery car’s exhaust note. To hear it again, click play below. A few of you who commented figured out that this week’s sound came from the 2013 Honda Accord Sport. The Sport is powered by a 189-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder that makes five more hp than the regular four-cylinder Accord. A sweet-shifting six-speed manual is standard, and the car in the recording was so equipped. Interestingly, the stick-shift version is available with only two sporty and cool colors: Modern Steel metallic and Crystal Black Pearl. There are many more colors available with the optional CVT. No complaints here—we’d much rather have an Accord with a manual than one without and more colors.
