The 2012 NASCAR iRacing.com Pro Series roars back into action tonight at 9 pm Eastern (01:00 GMT Wednesday). The online race, which will be broadcast by ETV, features the Chevy Impala Class A cars for 134 laps at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
In the wake of his fourth win of the season at Dover, Chad J Laughton continues to lead the NiPS standings. Winless (so far) but consistent Jared Crawford remains in striking distance in second, however, while Dustin Montgomery heads Jake Stergios and Adam Gilliland in the battle for third place. No less important is the battle for a top 25 finish in the standings and a berth in the 2013 NASCAR iRacing.com Series World Championship. At the moment, Josh Connors and Rob Ackley are the boys on the bubble with Brandon Schmidt, Dylan Duval and Brandon Buchberger leading the queue hoping to take their places.
