Ready for a 45 Minute Roller Coaster Ride?

The third round of the Late Model Road Racing World Series will be broadcast live from Lime Rock Park on latemodelroad.com this Sunday, (February 10) at 22:30 GMT.

From the bumpy Big Bend, to the challenging Uphill with the chicane, through the fast ninety degree West Bend turn, to the exhilarating Downhill turn, this little race track has everything to put the series into flames right on its third round!

A slightly different path through the Uphill corner awaits . . .

As predicted by many after the first round at Phillip Island, Mosport saw a busy race, with lots of surprises in a very short period of time. Claridge was the biggest one, collecting one bonus point while taking pole position, but dropping to 16th and finishing four laps down due to a bad pit stop and not much luck trying to regain positions back. Cockrell collected another bonus point for most positions gained, finishing sixth after starting 15th on the grid. Maillard took the win in a flawless run, having launched from the fourth spot on the grid and taking advantage of a string of bad luck moments from Cardoso, Prado and pole sitter Claridge.

Coming from a solid second place at Phillip Island and an undisputed win at Mosport, Maillard now leads the championship with 46 points. Winner at Phillip Island, de Wit sits in second place in the standings table, just 16 points behind the leader. Rounding out the top five are Rasch in third with 24 points, Montero in fourth with 21 points, and Prado and Cockrell in a tie for the fifth place with 20 points.

So, make sure you tune in to latemodelroad.com this Sunday at 22:30 GMT to watch some good old late models battle for 45 minutes at the Roller Coaster of the East.
